Delivery Person / Installer

MTAR Services needs people with experience in a wide variety of areas to be part of our delivery, assembly, and installation team.

We do more than just deliver products, offering assembly and installation services for just about everything.

Regular duties will include some or all of these:

• Picking up products at retail locations, and delivering them to customer’s homes or businesses.
• Assembly and installation of items, such as:
  • Shelving and desks
  • Sofas and dining room sets
  • BBQs and appliances
  • TV setup, wall mounting
  • Outdoor patio sets, sheds

Requirements:

• Able to communicate well by phone, and keep clients, dispatchers, and businesses up to date with an ever-changing schedule
• Comfortable doing paperwork, invoicing, and accepting cash, cheque, and credit card payments
• Working with staff at large companies
• Professional and courteous behaviour and attitude while inside a customer’s home or business. The impression made by our delivery and installation teams impacts future sales and projects.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Able to move 300+ pound items with a second person using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and appliance dollies

3 Ton and 5 Ton Truck Drivers

MTAR Services needs drivers who have experience driving 5 ton trucks, have excellent driving records, and are able to work with large companies and individual customers professionally.

Requirements:

• Valid drivers licence with good abstract
• Experience operating 5 ton and 3 ton trucks with various lifts
• Able to lift 50+ pounds on a regular basis
• Able to move 300+ pound items with a second person using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and appliance dollies
• Understand and able to perform basic warehouse functions (shipping and receiving)

Other duties:

• Presentable and professional. We are more than a delivery company, with a focus on providing high quality services.
• On time and reliable
• At times be able to handle paperwork and collect cash, cheque, and credit card payments.
• Assembly and installation of items such as shelving, sofas, desks, dining room sets, and appliances.
